Had a very nice day learning about all things mushrooms in our area. Hosts were very nice and the guest teacher (Andi) was very knowledgeable of and enthusiastic on the subject. Lunch was all locally sourced and/or foraged and delicious. Came away with a new favorite local edible mushroom (shrimp of the woods) and some good additional knowledge on the subject. Definitely recommend.

Awesome place/concept. Even more awesome people; attended a workshop there about foraging by the amazing Sam Thayer.

For a brand new education/retreat center, their ability to secure such high quality instructors is really remarkable! I attended the foraging class with Sam Thayer and had a fantastic experience. It was well organized, the lunch was nutritious, locally sourced, and delicious, and the ecology of the property was perfect for a nature based class like that. It's awesome that they have lodging available on site - what more could you want!? Thanks, Linda and Dennis!

What a wonderful place, set on the bluffs of the Driftless looking over the Great Mississippi River. I had the opportunity to take a class on foraging and preparing foraged food with Chris Gavin. The land was bountiful and the food was delicious. The environment was welcoming and fostered curiosity and learning. I will absolutely be back to explore their future classes.
